Harsha Purasinghe is a technology entrepreneur and Eisenhower Fellow with three decades of experience building significant software products and solutions. He has founded multiple ventures, including Microimage Group – arguably Sri Lanka’s most successful high school startup from the ’90s – and is the Founder/Co-Founder of ventures MiHCM and Futura Tech Labs.
He also founded WSO2Mobile. Purasinghe currently leads MiHCM, a global HRTech SaaS company with a presence in over 20 markets, impacting 1,000+ companies. Purasinghe received the ‘Most Outstanding Entrepreneur in the ICT Industry of Sri Lanka’ awards in 2007 and ‘Eisenhower Innovation Fellowship’ in 2014. Under Purasinghe’s leadership as Group CEO, MiHCM has been recognised with key global awards. As a highly respected industry leader, Purasinghe regularly addresses global events.
Damindu Jayaweera is a London-based tech investment analyst who is known for London’s best technology IPOs like Raspberry Pi and Softcat. He has been top 3 ranked for years by Institutional Investors and is well known by global investment giants like Fidelity, Blackrock, and Capital Group. Before his career in investment banking across Paris and London working at banks like Jefferies and Peel Hunt, he was, and still is, an out-and-out techie.
Along with Harsha Purasinghe, he was part of the core team at Ananda College that eventually became Microimage. During that time, he was an award-winning computer programmer who represented Sri Lanka at international events. Damindu has been involved with MiHCM as a Non-Executive Director and remains a key part of the strategic decision-making process.
Pubudini Abeyesekera is a CEO based in Sri Lanka with over 20 years of experience in Business Development, Business Operations and Client Relationship Management within various industries of Tech, Start-ups, Education, Real Estate, Airlines, Banking, and Hospitality, while living and working in the UAE, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
Pubudini leads with a hands-on approach backed with empathy and she thrives on identifying talent, nurturing individuals, and building high-performing teams. In addition to her professional work, she is passionate about travelling, photography, painting, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Himashie Perera is a Chief of Staff based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with over 15 years of experience in channel partner management, business analysis, project management, and strategic financial planning. She has international exposure, having worked in Europe and lived in China, where she gained first-hand experience in multi-cultural environments.
In addition to her professional career, Himashie is passionate about spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling to explore new places. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, is an Associate Member of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK), and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
Sinnathamby Shanmugarajah is a visionary technology leader and academic, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer of MiHCM. With nearly three decades of experience, he has led transformative initiatives in software architecture, enterprise platforms, mobile technologies, FinTech, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital innovations.
Renowned for his strategic foresight and technical depth, he drives digital transformation strategies that empower organisations across industries, while also shaping the next generation of technology professionals through his academic contributions. He has made notable contributions to the advancement of local language technologies, helping bridge the digital divide and enabling more inclusive access to innovation.
Marianne David is a Media and Communications professional based in Sri Lanka, with 25 years of experience and drives Content and Communication at MiHCM.
She has worked at several media houses prior to joining MiHCM and continues to contribute to mainstream print media as a Consultant Editor. Marianne was awarded Gold for Leadership Excellence in Media and Corporate Communication 2014/2015 at the ‘Women for Governance’ Professional & Career Women Awards by Women in Management. She is an avid reader, writer, and poet.
Uzma Alimudeen is a Marketing Specialist with over seven years of experience in driving strategic marketing initiatives across the tech and SaaS sectors. At MiHCM, she focuses on go-to-market strategy, customer lifecycle marketing, and digital campaigns that support brand growth and demand generation.
With a strong background in tech marketing, Uzma brings a practical, results-driven approach to building scalable marketing strategies. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her family and getting lost in a good book with an iced coffee in hand.
With over 10 years in the HRIS industry, Hiranya Jayaweera is a Product Manager who has grown through roles in Business Analysis, QA, Implementation, and Product Management.
Holding a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems with Business Management from the University of Westminster, UK, she has partnered with clients across South Asia and Southeast Asia. Outside of work, Hiranya is passionate about dancing, traveling, food, and wellbeing, pursuits that bring joy and balance to life.
Ayomi Baduge is a dedicated professional based in Sri Lanka, with nearly 25 years of experience at MIHCM. She began her career as an Accounts Executive and gradually transitioned into Sales, where she has thrived thanks to her strong communication and persuasive skills.
Over the years, Ayomi has developed a well-rounded skill set that includes a solid foundation in finance, sales, and hardware technology. Her long-standing tenure at MIHCM reflects her loyalty, deep knowledge of the organisation, and commitment to excellence. Outside of her professional life, Ayomi is a proud mother of a daughter. She values meaningful relationships and takes pride in her Sri Lankan roots.
Rashika Fazali is a Data & AI Business Lead based in Sri Lanka. With 15 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry, she specialises in radio presenting and compering, music programming, content conceptualisation, video production, and building AI applications.
She has worked with notable companies such as YES101 and Kristal FM, contributing to playlist curation and training radio presenters on radio software. In addition to her professional work, Rashika is passionate about music, books, psychology, and the Arts. She holds a Master's degree in Business Psychology from London Metropolitan University.
With nearly 15 years of experience in Sales, Customer Relationship Management, and Business Development, Shazmin Hilmy plays a pivotal role in driving MiHCM’s growth across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. As Assistant Manager – Business Development, she is instrumental in identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored digital HR solutions that align with evolving business needs.

Pubudu Perera is a Manager (Technical Operations) based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With 28 years of experience in Project Implementation and Support Service, he specialises in project implementation and has worked with several top corporate clients.
In addition to his professional work, Pubudu is passionate about agriculture. He holds a Diploma in System Design and Analysis from NIBM.
Asantha Buddhika is a seasoned HR technology professional with nearly two decades of experience at MiHCM. Currently serving as Senior Manager – Technical Operations, he has held multiple leadership roles, including Manager – Global Payroll & Support and Assistant Manager – Customer Support. His expertise spans HRIS implementation, payroll consultancy, client relationship management, and project leadership across South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Asantha holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Gloucestershire and multiple Microsoft certifications in Azure, AI, Data, and Security. He is known for his strategic thinking, technical acumen, and commitment to delivering high-impact HR solutions.
Prasanna Maduranga is the Manager of Technical Operations at MiHCM, with a career in the IT industry that began in 2010. Based in Sri Lanka, he brings extensive experience in software engineering, leading teams and delivering innovative HR-related solutions.
Prasanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from SLIIT and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys playing cricket.
Chandula Jayathilaka is a Senior Project Manager based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With 10 years of experience in Project Management, he specialises in implementing IT Solutions and has worked with top corporate clients in Sri Lanka and across MiHCM’s global footprint. He holds a B.Sc. Special (Hons) Degree in Information Technology specialising in Information Systems in IT from SLIIT.
